Hallasan Mountain is one of Korea’s natural forests, Jeju-do Island’s highest mountain peak, and is South Korea’s tallest mountain, where the galaxies can be reached from atop the mountains.
Winter brings forth snowfields, a sea of clouds and a view of vast snowfields with crystal-like flowers of ice formations growing in the sunlight on top of the withered old trees. Aside from the beautiful scenery, Mt. Hallasan Winter Event 2014 happening between December to January offers guests an array of activities sure to amuse and entertain such as snow sledding, skiing, photo taking zones and even some cultural games. Shuttle buses are also available for tourists between downtown and the event venue.
